About Our Leather

We use leather mainly from three sources:

1. Tannerie Rémy Carriat (Espelette, France)
Rémy Carriat Tannerie has produced exceptional quality leathers since 1927. They offer the finest young bull and buffalo calf skins leathers that are being used by many luxury brands. From this Tannery, we use several types of leather. Click on each leather for more detailed information.

2. Tanneries Haas (Alsace, France)
For luxury smooth leather, we use Tanneries Haas' Novonappa® leather, a double tanned calf leather, stuffed in drum stuffings. In the past decade, Haas Tanneries have gradually transformed the finishing process into water-based finishings.

3. Alran S.A.S. (Mazamet, France)
Tannerie Alran S.A.S. has been in existence since 1903. It has developed a vast expertise in the tanning and tawing of goat, calf and buffalo skins and hides. Atelier Ramón Kadi™ utilizes goat skin for interior lining of certain handbags, as well as exterior skin in some types of wallets.

4. Gruppo Mastrotto (Arzignano, Italy)
Soft Semi-Aniline dyed Half-Bovine Leather in either Smooth surface or with a Natural Grain, from a tannery in Italy.
